Bimonthly Newsletter – Let’s take a look at March and April 2019

Both March and April were very busy months for Gateville Group, it saw the end various projects including the initial phases of FRA works at the Isle of Wight as well as the acquisition of 30 more blocks for future FRA works with Southern Housing Group.

On the 6th and 7th of March 2019, David Barnes and James Darker attended the Total Housing 2019 conference, where they met and networked with industry contractors and consultants from leading organisations and Local Authorities such as Matthew Sutton and Ashford Council.

These individuals appeared to be aware of Gateville Group and our great work, positive conversations took place about the prospect of future builds, refurbishments and FRA works.

Things are set to remain busy for the foreseeable future with a number of projects in the pipeline which we will announce in the coming months.

NEW FRA APP – BOLSTER

We are proud to announce the launch of our new app – Bolster, which will allow for efficient management of all Gateville Group FRA projects moving forward.

The app will enable us to:
– Track & control fire stopping works
– Produce reports
– Create & export service drawings
and more.

STAFF SURVEY – RESULTS

A big thank you to all the Gateville Group staff who completed the 2019 Staff Survey. We are grateful for your time and commitment to shaping the future of our organisation and workforce.

The 2019 Staff Survey is the beginning of a continued process of engagement to understand staff needs and requirements and measure progress against the issues highlighted.

The full staff survey results will be published in the news section of our website www.gatevillegroup.co.uk. In the meantime, here is a preview of some of the results.

1. 84% of you are happy working for Gateville Group
2. 97% of you felt you get recognition from your manager
3. 93% of you still see yourself working for Gateville Group in a years time
4. 82% of you are aware of the benefits offered by Gateville Group

We also received comments which we intend to act upon, such as:

1. “…Would like to know about training on offer for staff”
2. “…Carry out stock audits once a month, not weekly”

SITE MANAGER OF THE MONTH AWARD – MARCH

We are pleased to announce Elian kovacs as the March ’Site Manager of the Month’. Elian has continuously strived to meet and exceed client expectations and continues to achieve an above average H&S score.

Elian is a real believer in the Gateville Group principles. He received his certificate, trophy and gift from Iulian Barbu (Construction Director), James Darker (Operations Director) and Samuel Prisacariu (Contracts Manager).

Elian has been with Gateville Group for over 5 years and is a highly regarded member of the team. Well done and thank you Elian!

 

 

SITE MANAGER OF THE MONTH AWARD – APRIL

We are pleased to announce Andrei Prisacariu as our April ‘Site Manager of the Month’ for his hard work, reliability and dedication everyday.
